Burnout is a state of emotional, physical, and mental exhaustion caused by prolonged or excessive stress. It can manifest as feelings of apathy, cynicism, and a reduced sense of accomplishment. Left unaddressed, burnout can have serious consequences for both your physical and mental health.    

Recognizing the Signs 

It’s important to be aware of the signs of burnout, so you can take steps to address it before it becomes overwhelming. Some common symptoms include: 

  • Feeling exhausted all the time, even after sleeping    
  • Feeling cynical or detached from your work or hobbies    
  • Feeling helpless or hopeless

Preventing Burnout
